Summer School on AI and Law

Dear Prospective Students for the AI and Law Summer School,

We are overjoyed to announce that the 2023 Summer School will take place in person at theEuropean University Institute in Florence, Italy. The course will take place over five days: from Monday, 8 July to Friday, 12 July.

The Summer School on AI and Law is held on a yearly basis. It is jointly hosted by the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), The University of Bologna (Italy) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (U.S.A.). It is also sponsored by Cirsfid-University of Bologna (Italy), the University of Groningen (the Netherlands), The University of Konstanz, the University of Swansea, the European Academy of Legal Theory, the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands), and the ERC project [https://site.unibo.it/compulaw/en/] . The summer school will take place at European University Institute, Villa Salviati.

Some of our students may also be interested in the Summer School on Law and Logic, which is also planned to take place in Florence from Monday, 1 July to Saturday, 6 July, and is sponsored by the European University Institute, The University of Bologna and the Harvard Law School.
