Daniela Cavalcoli

Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2014, since November 2021 she has been delegated by the Rector for the mobility of teachers, students and technical-administrative staff. She carries out her research in the field of condensed matter physics. The main research interests the study of optical and transport properties of semiconductor materials using advanced spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, and the study of semiconductor nanostructures. The materials and structures find different applications in the field of photovoltaic conversion, light emission and microelectronics.

Engaged in national and international research projects, she collaborates with various universities and research centers in Europe. She is author of several publications in international scientific journals. She is an expert evaluator of European (Horizon Europe, H2020, Energy and NMP) and international projects.
