PhD candidate in "Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges" at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna and as part of a dual-degree research program at the Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration (IGP-CEA), he conducts research in the fields of geophysics and seismology. His research interests focus in particular on multi-scale seismic wave attenuation tomography and the application of inversion techniques for source parameters. He is currently concentrating his research on the topic of induced seismicity mechanisms and advanced monitoring technologies in mining and engineering environments.
