Veronica Pastorino

Veronica Pastorino is a Ph.D. candidate at the department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Bologna and at the department of Human Geography of the Radboud University. 

She obtained a master's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Freie Universität Berlin and later worked as research assistant in the research department of the Expert Council of German Foundations on Integration and Migration (SVR) in Berlin. 

She has conducted several research projects among NGOs composed of people with a migratory background in Bologna and Berlin. She is currently researching on two networks of organizations composed of new generations: the Italian CoNNGI (Coordinamento Nazionale Nuove Generazioni Italiane) and the German NDO (Neue Deutsche Organisationen). 

Her research interests are: social movements, sociology of space, post-national citizenship, youth activism.
