My research activity is based on the use of computational methods, such Quantum Mechanics (QM), Molecular Mechanics (MM) and Molecular Dynamics (MD) and hybrid metodologies (QM/MM), to unveil the mechanisms followed by reactive transformation and the binding mode of non-standard ligands to biological systems and surfaces. In particular, the main aim of my activity is the design of novel platforms for cancer treatment.
