Prof. Steven A. Gedeon, BSc, MSc, MBA, PEng, PE, PhD (MIT) is Chair of the Ryerson Entrepreneur Institute and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategy in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, one of the largest entrepreneurship programs in the world with 10+ incubators, 350 startups per year, VC fund, and Canada’s only Ashoka Changemaker campus.
Steve is a highly-regarded entrepreneurship educator, Angel investor and technology commercialization expert who has founded or led 15+ private, public, venture capital and non-profit organizations including the DMZ – named the World’s Top University-based incubator. He has published over 100 articles, reports and patents; and delivered over 100 public speaking engagements and videos on personal leadership, entrepreneurship, success, life design, motivation, financing, and best practices in teaching.
Dr. Gedeon is a technology commercialization expert who has brought new products and services to market in high tech, manufacturing, automation, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, web-based applications, IT solutions, and software applications.
