Curriculum vitae

Stefano Zingaro is a research fellow and adjunct professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, he is a member of the FOCUS research team of INRIA.
He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Trento and specialized in Computational Biology at the University of Bologna where he obtained his PhD in Computer Science (Cycle XXXII).
He is author of scientific publications in the field of programming languages and artificial intelligence and participated from 2016 to 2020 in the EIT Digital European PhD School focused on technological innovation.
His main research interests are artificial intelligence, in particular machine learning applications in education; microservices and Service Oriented Computing; programming languages for IoT.
He has participated in several national and European projects, such as the AI4EU project funded by Horizon 2020 and he has been member of the steering committee of the ACM conference on
Principles and Practice of Declarative Programming (PPDP) and the International Conference on Microservices.
