Any activity that may compromise the proper conduct of examinations is prohibited, including but not limited to:

• cheating and plagiarism;
• access to online learning resources;
• use of artificial intelligence tools not expressly authorized;
• use or possession of unauthorized materials or equipment.

It is specified that the mere possession of unauthorized tools or materials during the conduct of any examination results in the immediate invalidation of the submitted work and notification to the competent offices.

Any conduct in violation of the above provisions may result in disciplinary proceedings and, where criminal relevance applies, reports to the competent authorities, with the consequent risk of criminal proceedings being initiated against the students involved."

<a10:updated>2026-05-12T16:11:18+02:00</a10:updated>

THESIS focusing on 3D CFD simulations of ICEs and to be completed in a specialized company (in Europe)

Thesis available abroad (Europe) focusing on 3D CFD simulation of internal combustion engines

<a10:updated>2025-08-26T16:25:49+02:00</a10:updated>

<a10:updated>2025-05-22T10:27:32+02:00</a10:updated>

Keep in touch with SOFFHICE project (funded by PRIN 2022 - PNRR)

On Linkedin:nbsp;https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7163885434283012096/

SOFFHICEnbsp;centers its focus on investigating the retrofit of ships, with short-distance ferries in lakes or Italian minor islands serving as real case studies. The project's dual-fold integration goal strives to maximize ICE efficiency and minimize emissions during open-sea navigation, while emphasizing SOFC operation in ports and coastal areas to reduce pollutants (nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, particulate).

The project's roadmap includes the design of a SOFC+ICE ferry through a comprehensive feasibility study. Partners will model and study the interaction of the two technologies, considering thermodynamics and control aspects. The analysis aims to investigate a variety of scenarios involving different fuel feedings, from natural gas to hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia.

In this framework, UniBO will perform a caracterization of the ICE module in the SOFC+ICE system by means a self-developed 0D engine model combined with chemical kinetics simulations.

<a10:updated>2024-02-16T17:03:44+01:00</a10:updated>
