2008:
PhD in Languages, Cultures and Intercultural Communication, University of Bologna. Title of Thesis: Reading the West through its Theme Parks. 

February - June 2006:
Visiting scholar at University of Limerick (Ireland).

2003:
Degree with honors in Translation Studies, (Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, SSLMIT – University of Bologna at Forlì). Title of thesis: Politeness for profit: a critical analysis of the world of Disney. Scientific tutors: Prof. Raffaella Baccolini and Prof. Samuel P. Whitsitt.

2001-2002:
Erasmus exchange student at Universität Leipzig (Germany).

2000:
