Silvia Mazzuca is a post-doc researcher at the Dept. of Psychology of the University of Bologna. She received her PhD in Experimental Psychology from Sapienza University of Rome. Broadly, her research focuses on emotions, social cognition, and relations between majority and minority groups. Specifically, most of her work examines the role of group based emotions in the identity management process and in shaping collective behaviour. She additionally examines how we regulate our emotions and how this influences relationships satisfaction and interpersonal closeness.
