Dr. Shuangying Wei is a Junior Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on 2D materials for advanced energy storage devices, ether-based electrolyte optimization for lithium metal batteries, and operando synchrotron techniques (XAS/XRD). She obtained her PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Ferrara (Italy) and was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at UCT Prague. She has authored multiple high-impact papers (35) and leads EU- and national-level projects on battery materials.
