Selamawet Workalemahu Atnafu

Selamawet W. Atnafu was born in Ethiopia. She earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jimma, Ethiopia, in 2010 and M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2015. Since 2015, she has been working at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia, as a lecturer, in Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Mrs. Selamawet received the 2010 pin award of Jimma University, which is given for the top female graduates of the department. Currently, Mrs. Selamawet is a Bioengineering Ph.D. student at the University of Bologna, where she is advised by Prof. Mauro Ursino and Prof. Stefano Diciotti. Her research interests include computer vision, neuroimaging, machine learning, and deep learning.
