Riccardo Barbone has been a PhD student since 2021 at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" - DEI, University of Bologna. He carries out his research in the field of power electronics and energy storage and conversion systems from renewable sources, with a view to development of electric mobility. His research interests are particularly focused on the electrification of public transportation.
Education
He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2019 and a Master's degree (with honors) in Electrical Engineering (English curriculum) in 2021, both at the University of Bologna.
Abroad experience
He participated in the "Overseas" exchange program in the academic year 2017-2018, at the University Technology Sydney (Australia).
