Fields of research: history of medieval ecclesiastical institutions; history of cultural memory and religious mentality of medieval societies; analysis civil and ecclesiastical institutions as producers of cultural heritage (mainly archives and libraries).
Chair of the Scientific Committee of the University Library of Ravenna.
Chair of the OFA Commission. Member of the QA Committee of the Department of Cultural Heritage.
Head of the Erasmus exchange with Montpellier III University (P. Valéry).
