Short Bio

Raffaele K Salinari born in Zurich 1954, Italian, is a Medical Doctor, specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and First Aid Surgery. Has worked for more then twenty years in health development cooperation in Asia Africa Middle East and Latin America and, as consultant, for WHO, UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR; Actually is President of Terre des Hommes International and teacher of Project Cycle Management in the Universities of Bologna (Italy), Urbino (Italy), Tarragona (Spain) and Hanoi (Viet-nam), and in several other Masters in Human Rights and Development. He is the representative of Concord, the European platform of development aid Ngos, in the Board of the European master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation. Has published several books on Human right and development issues (Europe and Human Rights, Re-esistenza contro sopra vivenza, il Gioco del Mondo, Il Castello di sabbia). He is member of the International Council of the World Social Forum.
