Pietro Rigo

Born in Arezzo in 1958. Graduated in Statistics at the University of Siena in 1982. PhD in Statistics at the University of Padova in 1989. From 1989 to 2000, as assistant and then associate professor, at the Dept. of Statistics of the University of Firenze. From 2000 to 2010, as full professor, at the Dept. of Economics and Quantitative Methods of the University of Pavia. From 2010 to 2019, as full professor, at the Dept. of Mathematics of the University of Pavia. Currently, full professor of Probability and Mathematical Statistics (SSD MAT/06) at the Dept. of Statistics of the University of Bologna.
