Short Bio

Bachelor degree in Classics; Master degree in Archaeology and Ancient Cultures (UniBo). Master in Bioarchaeology, Paleopathology and Forensic Anthropology (UniBo-UniMi-UniPi); 2013 Specialization in Landscape Archeology. 2017 Doctor Europaeus (Ph.D)  in Ancient Topography at Sapienza University of Rome and in 2018 he obtained the "Perfezionamento" in Ancient Architecture at the Italian Archaeological School at Athens. Research Fellow for the Onassis Foundation (Athens) in 2019/2020. Field Director of the International Archaeological Mission of Tannetum.

Author of a monograph on Reggio Emilia in Roman times and various articles in national and international scientific journals.

Research lines: reconstruction of the ancient landscape; Ancient Architecture studies with particular specialization on buildings for shows; aerial photos interpretation; Road-network, centuriation and ancient town planning studies in Greek and Roman world. Go to the Curriculum vitae
