Keywords: Muons Particle Detectors Grid and Cloud Computing High Energy Physics Scientific Computing and networking

The main research interest is the study of proton-proton collisions at LHC with the CMS detector.

In particular, the activities focus on:

- maintenance and development of muon detectors (in particular drift tubes, also built in Bologna and installed in CMS);

- muon trigger algorithms;

- development of distributed computing systems (Grid and Cloud);

- development of automatic learning (machine learning) algorithms for the CMS experiment;

- Distributed CMS data analysis.
