Curriculum vitae

After degree in Lettere Classiche at the University of Bologna in 1971, Paola Porta  obtained teaching qualification for Storia dell'arte Bizantina at the Bologna University (Rettorale 25.05.1978, Prot. 10424).
From the Academic year 1992/1993 to 1997/1998 got the academic teaching of Archeologia dell'Emilia Romagna nel Medioevo at the degree course of Conservazione dei Beni Culturali in Ravenna.
During the Academic year 1996/1997 worked as a supply for Storia dell'arte medievale at the faculty of Lettere and Filosofia in University Ca' Foscari in Venice.
In the academic year 1998/1999 obtained teaching of workshops supporting teaching of Christian Archaeology and Archaeology and History of Art of Early and Medieval Art.
Same workshops for History of ancient Towns at the IULM University in Milan.
From October 2006 Paola Porta is associeted professor at the Storia Cultura Civiltà Department in Bologna University.
Teaches Archeologia dell'Emilia Romagna nel Medioevo (Brief degree), is in on PhD College in Archaeology and on Post-Graduate course in Cultural Heritage. In the same course Paola Porta got the Academic teaching in Archeologia e storia dell'arte medievale in Emilia Romagna.
From Academic year 2009/2010 obtained in Master Course of Archeologia e culture del mondo antico academic teaching of Archeologia e storia dell'arte Cristiana e medievale.
She had gave many lectures at numerous foreign and italian Universities and she had been speaker at many archaeological national and international conferences.
Paola Porta is an active member for Deputazione di Storia Patria per le Province di Romagna and for Società Istriana di Archeologia e Storia Patria and for Storia della Chiesa di Bologna. She had gave lectures at that cultural associations.
She is author for hundreds scientific works mostly setting in Archaeological and Artistic arguments during the Late Antiquity and Middle Ages.
