My first degree was in agricultural engineering obtained at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During my bachelor’s degree, I was an Erasmus student at the University of Bologna, where I completed a master’s degree in Horticultural Sciences. After I graduated, I got a Leonardo scholarship that gave me the opportunity to do my internship within an start up from the University of Wagenigen (The Netherlands). Over the years I worked for several innovative companies supporting them in the implementation of new technologies in agriculture, about which I became passionate. After more than 12 years of professional career in sales, I decided to return to University to obtain a PhD, where I will be involved in studying the effect on grapevine physiology of new natural molecule under the framework of EU funded project SAFEWAX. This experience will help me to keep building my professional trajectory of bringing to the market scientific based technologies that will help to make agriculture more sustainable.
