Maurizio Canavari included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists for citations received in 2023
Maurizio Canavari, Professor of Agricultural Economics and Appraisal at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna, has been included in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list (in the "Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry" category) published in August 2024 by the team led by Prof. John Ioannidis at Stanford University.
This publicly available ranking is based on Elsevier's Scopus data and highlights researchers with the highest scientific impact for citations received in 2023.
For the current edition, over 9 million researcher profiles worldwide were evaluated, with around 200,000 making the list based on a composite indicator (c-score) combining metrics like h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and author position citations.
