Curriculum vitae

Adjunct Professor. His research interests include: XX and XXI-century U.S. Literature, the U.S. South, the American Gothic, Geocriticism, and Postmodernism. His current research is dedicated to contemporary women writers from the U.S. South read at the convergence of Intersectionality, Afropessimism and Hauntology.

Education

He received a M.A. in Literature, Linguistics and Translation from "Sapienza" University of Rome in 2013, and a Ph.D. in Literatures in English from the same university in 2017 with a dissertation on Cormac McCarthy's novels.

Employment History

Adjunct Professor at the University of Valle d'Aosta (2017-2018), the University of Catania (2018-2019), and the University of Turin (2019-2020). Visiting fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015).

He currently teaches Anglo-American Literature at the universities of Bologna and Turin.
