Curriculum vitae

Current position: PhD student in the third year of the PhD course in Health, Safety and Green Systems (XXXV cycle). He carries out his activity in the Pharmaco-Toxicological Analysis Research Group (PTA Lab) of the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology (FaBiT), Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, with a project entitled "Drugs of abuse analysis: new methods in herbal and biological matrices for medicinal chemistry and forensic investigation "under the supervision of Prof. Laura Mercolini. The study is focuses on the design of instrumental analytical procedures and the development of strategies for the quali-quantitative analysis of narcotic substances in biological and non-biological matrices. The various methods developed make use of various analytical techniques, including high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with detection systems of various kinds (UV spectrophotometry, electrochemical detection, mass spectrometry).

 

April 2019: Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the Department of Life Sciences (DSV) of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), with an experimental thesis in the electroanalytical field, entitled "Development of an electrochemical sensor for the of cannabinoids.”, at the electroanalysis laboratory of Prof. Chiara Zanardi.

 

Scientific production: publication of 5 articles published in peer-reviewed international journals, an oral presentation and 12 poster contributions to national and international conferences

 

Didactic assistance activities:

In the A.Y. 2021-2022 carries out teaching assistance activities equal to 20 hours of laboratory tutoring as part of the "Phytoderivative Analysis II" teaching of the Degree Course in Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (Imola campus), Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna

From the A.Y. 2020-2021 carries out teaching assistance activities equal to 20 hours/year of laboratory tutoring in the context of the "Medicinal Analysis I (GrB)" teaching of the Study Course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (Bologna campus), Alma Mater Studiorum - University from Bologna.

From the A.Y. 2019-2020 carries out teaching assistance activities equal to 30 hours/year of laboratory tutoring as part of the "Chemical Toxicological Analysis 2" teaching of the degree course in Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (Imola campus), Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

From the A.Y. 2019-2020 he is laboratory assistant for the II level University Master in "Forensic Chemical and Chemical-Toxicological Analysis", Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna.
