Professor Luke Connelly delivered an invited PhD course at The University of Lucerne, Switzerland link) from 3-5 July 2019, on Asymmetric Information, Risk and Insurance in Health Care Markets.

The course drew enrolments from The University of Lucerne, The University of Zurich and the University of Geneva.

The program was offered as part of the Swiss Society of Health Economics International Doctoral Program in Health Economics and Policy (link).

The growing demand for health economics and the introduction of new guidelines in various European countries were the motivation to generate a highly scientific and at the same time practice oriented journal considering the requirements of various health care systems in Europe.
