Post-doc researcher at the University of Bologna for the project FIS project SAPIENCE, Symbols, preliteracy and code evolution (PI Prof Silvia Ferrara). Her research focuses on the trajectories of graphic codes in China, from early symbolic systems to historically attested scripts, as well as on experimental approaches to testing hypotheses about the invention of writing in a cross-cultural perspective.
She was previously a Post-doc researcher within the ERC project INSCRIBE: Invention of Scripts and their Beginnings, where she conducted research on ancient Chinese writing systems.
