Luca Cattani has served as a contract professor for the University of Bologna since 2014 in the Master's Degree Programme called "Sviluppo Locale E Globale" teaching Project management, monitoring and evaluation.
PhD in European Law & Economics at the University of Bologna, L. Cattani has worked as Project Manager for both public and private organizations such as universities, multi-utilities and Knowledge Intensive Business Services consulting firms. He specializes in project identification, formulation and evaluation in the context of the European Framework Programmes and other European programmes (H2020, Cosme, Erasmus+, etc.)
He is also doing research in labour and education economics and human capital. His research interests span from university-to-work transitions to the cognitive content of tasks. He is currently focusing on job creation and destruction in the wake of Industry 4.0 and the subsequent knowledge and skills needs.
