Laura Landi

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Hydrogeology at the University of Bologna, Italy, with supervisor Dr. Maria Filippini (Co-supervisors: Dr. Marco Rotiroti, Prof. Enrico Dinelli, Prof. Alessandro Amorosi, Prof. Alessandro Gargini).

After earning my bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences, I continued my academic journey by enrolling in a Master’s degree program specializing in Hydrogeological Risk and Environmental Protection. My master’s thesis focused on the numerical modeling of a fractured aquifer for water resource management. Now, in my PhD program, I am focused on investigating the natural contamination of groundwater by arsenic, utilizing statistical data analysis and spatial interpolation techniques.
