Students who followed the course "Latin Language and Literature I" (83248) are kindly requested to note that, from the Academic Year 2020/2021 onward, the course will be held by Prof. Luigi Pirovano. Students who planned to follow the course and pass the exam during the Academic Years 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, as well as the ones who have not completed their curriculum yet, may still ask to undergo their examination with Prof. Ventura (some specific sessions will be opened in AlmaEsami). Written tests passed during the Academic Year 2019/20 will not be valid anymore from February 5th onward (namely, the end of the current session). Students who have not passed the oral exam then must repeat the test during the sessions organized by Prof. Pirovano.

Chiarimento sui programmi di Lingua e Letteratura Latina I e II (83248 ed 83249)

In seguito ad alcune richieste di chiarimento da parte di alcuni studenti (che ringrazio di aver sollevato la questione), e per evitare spiacevoli malintesi, si fa presente che i programmi di Lingua e Letteratura Latina I e II (83248 ed 83249) sono diversi per gli studenti di LM 39 e di altri corsi di laurea (ad es., LM 14).

A questo proposito, si precisa che:

gli studenti di LM 39 portano il programma previsto per la LM 39, gli altri (tutti i corsi di laurea magistrale) il programma alternativo indicato nella pagina web, e negli insegnamenti online;

gli studenti già laureati che integrano con crediti aggiuntivi a scelta e singoli corsi il proprio percorso di studi fanno riferimento, per la scelta del programma, alla laurea di partenza. Ad esempio, chi integra la LM 39 porta il programma rivolto alla LM 39, gli altri (ad es., LM 14) il programma previsto per gli altri corsi di laurea.

Il fatto di essere iscritti al singolo corso non implica, infatti, l'iscrizione al corso di laurea.

Si prega gli studenti iscritti ai corsi di Lingua e Letteratura Latina I e II (83248/83249) NON appartenenti alla LM 39 di contattare rapidamente la Docente in merito al programma.

Si avvisa inoltre gli studenti che sono già in possesso di un diploma di laurea LM 39, ma che acquisiscono crediti supplementari, che sono considerati a tutti gli effetti come iscritti al corso LM 39, e che perciò debbono seguire il programma destinato agli studenti appartenenti a questo corso.

Extension of the validity of the written exame (Latin Language and Literature I)

Students are kindly reminded that the results of the obligatory written exams related to the course "Latin Language and Literature I" (summer session: June - July 2018) are still valid until the end of the winter exams session (February 2019). Students are kindly requested to note that two meetings concerning the exams Latin Language and Literature I and II (83248 and 83249) will be held, respectively, on June 5th, 2018, at 5PM (Aula Seminari, Via Zamboni 32 =meeting concerning the exam 83248), and on June 11th, 2018 (Aula IX, Via Cartoleria 5 = meeting concerning the exam 83249), at the end of the exams session (more information later).

That meeting are meant to help students preparing the exams, and will deal with questions related to the readings and the examinations.

Students who wish to take part in those meetings are invited to join in. It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance.

In order to respond to the numerous requests I have received from some students, I would like to

1) I invite those who have never had a training in Latin language to use the e-learning platform put at their disposal by the University before the official beginning of the course (29/01/2018); here is the link: https://elearning-pro.unibo.it/course/view.php?id=1162;

2) the University is trying to activate a special tutoring; this initiative does not represent a justification for not using the e-learning.
