Short Bio

Currently a PhD student in advanced geomatic techniques applied to cultural heritage.

She previously collaborated with the Berlin research laboratory Rathgen Forschungslabor, dealing with MFT analysis on single textile fibers, integrated with visible reflectance spectroscopy for dye identification; winner of the X edition of the RF scholarship, she developed a photo-reduction SERS method for the characterization of mordanted dyes on fiber. She got her Master's Degree in December 2018 in Science for Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (UNIBO, Campus of Ravenna), with an experimental thesis carried out at the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas) in Madrid, dealing with Raman and SERS techniques for the characterization of modern textile dyes.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, she has done a thesis in Organic Chemistry concerning the synthesis of an antitubercular drug.
