Giovanni Amerigo Giuliani is a Research Fellow (collaboratore di ricerca) and Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore and previously held a postdoctoral position at the University of Florence. He was a Roberto Ruffilli Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bologna, leading to the publication of The Mainstream Right and Family Policy Agendas in the Post-Fordist Age (2024, Emerald). He has participated in several national and international research projects and he is currently involved in an Erasmus+ project on teaching excellence. His research focuses on comparative welfare state analysis, particularly on family policy, the welfare agendas of mainstream and radical right parties, and gender role attitudes. He has published in leading international journals, including Journal of European Social Policy, Journal of Social Policy, European Journal of Political Research, European Societies.
