Gianluca Marzola

Gianluca Marzola currently is at University of North Carolina at Wilmington - UNCW at the Departement of Psychology (Cohen Cognition and Perception Lab). Gianluca researches numerical cognition. He is interested in how the brain processes numerical information. He is also interested in the relationship between number perception and the SNARC effect, and the semantic association between space and quantity.
In parallel, he works on the relationship between consciousness and Eistein's Relativity Thesis to understand if the amount of Integrated Information in a conscious system depends on the speed at which this system is travelling.
