Economist at the European Commission since 2015, he is currently Deputy Head of Unit on MFF and Economic and Budgetary Analysis in the Directorate General on Budget. His research has also been focusing on convergence, labour markets functioning and applied macroeconometrics. He was previously Assistant Professor at the University of Valencia, teaching financial markets, European economics and international economics, and lecturer at the Toulouse Business School and EU Business School.
