Date of birth: May, 10, 1974

Current Position: Postdoc at the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Bologna.

March 2015: PhD in Horticulture

October 2000: B.S, M.S. in Horticulture, University of Bologna (Italy) whit a thesis entitled: E-Commerce in agriculture produce trade;  

July 1993: Degree from the Institute of Agriculture Technology, Catanzaro, Italy, GPA 4.0/4.0

May 2001: Won competitive to study abroad at the Federal University “Eliseu Macielâ€, in Pelotas (RS) Brazil (October 2001- July 2002) working on organic fertilization strategies of peach and citrus plants;

May 2003 – August 2004: Visiting Scholar at Department of Horticulture, Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI, USA) working on organic apple and cherry production and nutritional imbalances;

June 2006: Won competitive for N.1 scholarship funded by Italian Minister of Research (MIUR) entitled “Use of Meliacee products in sustainable agriculture";

December 2007: Won competitive for N.1 Research fellowship funded by the University of Bologna entitled “Innovative methods for characterization and sanification of agroindustrial productsâ€; 

Since January 2008: member of the examination committee for the Pomology and Horticulture courses at the Faculty of Horticulture (University of Bologna);

December 2008: Renewal of fellowship funded by the University of Bologna entitled “Innnovative methods of orchards management in sustainable agriculture and improvement of fruit quality"

2010: Member of the Editorial staff of the italian “Rivista di Frutticoltura e di Ortofloricolturaâ€. Il Sole 24 Ore. Ed. Edagricole. Scientific Director  Prof. S. Sansavini.
