Gianandrea Lanzara

Gianandrea Lanzara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna, which he joined in February 2025. Prior to this appointment, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Bocconi University and a Visiting Scholar at New York University. His research interests span urban economics and economic geography, as well as the economics of immigration, discrimination, and culture. His work has been published in the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory, and the Journal of Urban Economics. Until 2019, he also worked as a freelance editor of economics textbooks for major Italian publishing houses.
