I aim to understand and enhance humans' ability to think collectively and design intelligently!
I am a PhD candidate in Ethic-Driven Artificial Intelligence and Personalised Education, a Cultural Anthropologist and a Philosopher of Science with a master's thesis on the evolution of the scientific system as a distributed cognitive system.
In my mind, there is a clear red thread that connects my academic background and professional experiences. I see it as the perceived necessity to comprehend what renders humans' intelligence so peculiar (SPOILER: the connectivity of lower-level individuals' intelligence through a sociocultural niche).
Ironically, the collective effort of designing Artificial Intelligent systems (the ones with Agency!) represents, at the same time, our best strategy to test against reality our scientific theories regarding humans' natural intelligence, and the most promising path to further enhance our collective intelligence!
