Francesca Romana Partipilo

Francesca Romana Partipilo is a postdoctoral researcher in International Law at the University of Bologna, Forlì campus, where she works on the PRIN 2022 MiReIL - Migration and Religion in International Law. She is also a reporter for Oxford University Press (Oxford Reports on International Law), working on UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies' decisions. She earned her PhD in October 2023 at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, defending a thesis on NGOs' search and rescue activities in the Mediterranean. During her PhD, she was visiting researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Law of the Sea, at Utrecht University, and at the Law Faculty of Stockholm University. Before her PhD, she studied law at the University of Trento and obtained a Master in Human Rights and Conflict Management from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.
