Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences, University of Bologna, academic discipline: VET/04 Inspection of Foods of Animal Origin, since 2021. The research is focused in veterinary public health and food safety area. In particular, she deals with foodborne zoonoses and relevant topics of food safety, with particular attention to antimicrobial resistance, epidemiological studies, strategies of control and management of microbiological hazards, microbial risk assessment, and more in general, the microbiologial hazards linked to the consumption of food of animal origin.
Engaged in national and international research projects in collaborations with various national and international research groups.
Author/coauthor of 95 publications indexed by WOS/Scopus.
