I'm a third-year PhD student in astrophysics at the University of Bologna.
My main scientific interest is the evolution of galaxies. I'm working on the research and analysis of the "Radio-Selected NIRdark galaxies" as likely high-z progenitors of the massive galaxies, Given the highly-obscured nature of these sources, I mainly work with infrared and (sub)mm facilities (such as JWST, ALMA and NOEMA).
I'm also interested in the possible applications of machine learning to the field of strong gravitational lensing. I'm developing ML algorithms for the automated research and analysis of strong lenses in next-generation facilities such as Euclid and the Vera Rubin Observatory. A list of my scientific publications is available here
