Adjunct Professor at the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Translation and Interpreting (Forlì campus) since 2016. His research is conducted within the field of dialogue interpreting, and his interests lie in legal and humanitarian interpreting, pragmatics (in particular, Relevance Theory), and interactional sociolinguistics. His current research focuses on quality standards and a uniform (in particular, pragmatic) skills certification system for legal and humanitarian interpreters as well as the application of Relevance Theory to Interpreting studies.
