DESCRIPTION

Monitor and brief ECRBX on the developments in EU policies and the EU political context – particularly regarding their implications for the WBG-EU partnership and for WBG client countries, incl. Emergent priorities of incoming MEPs on target committees in area of international development, Hearings of incoming Commissioners (e.g., INTPA, NEAR, ECHO, Mediterranean, etc.),

Policy positions, strategies, and reports on WBG business regions and on financial instruments such as NDICI-GE and EFSD+ published by the EEAS and relevant Commission DGs (INTPA, NEAR, etc.);
Provide support to ECRBX team in specific tasks, incl. preparation of briefings, organization of events, contributions to the EU weekly internal communication update, development of and contributions to a regular (monthly) external communication update;
Note taking, incl. preparation of minutes for recurring internal team meetings;
Research and briefing support; (If relevant) Prepare a substantive note on a topic of importance to the team that would be a long-term topic and deliverable of the internship (e.g. European policy and different strategies in development, humanitarian policy, different EU financial instruments, etc.),

Dear PDGW Students, I am pleased to share that tomorrow Monday December 6 our class will be held in presence. An official end-of-quarantine decision has been issued for my close relative. Let’s then meet at Palazzo Verdi Aula Gershewitch at 11 am for those who attend in presence, and virtually via our virtual classroom via TEAMS for those who prefer to attend remotely. Please note that tomorrow will be our penultimate class – before our final class on December 20^th. As some of you have mentioned problems in attending on Dec 20^th (particularly exams on that day), and in order to maximize attendance for the Class Evaluation Questionnaire by the students, I have decided to schedule the Questionnaire tomorrow – at the end of our class (13.45 to 14.00). The Questionnaire is entirely anonymous and students are kindly asked to fill it in via their devices (tablets, smart phones, laptops..) – following the instructions that will be given by the Instructor (link and code will be shared upon opening the evaluation). Your opinion is key, and it is the most relevant input for us to improve the quality of teaching in a way that responds to students’ needs and suggestions. While she tested negative, I have a quarantined close relative until the end of next week (under age 12 - i.e. not vaccinated, 10 days quarantine mandatory), as other underage kids have tested positive in her class. I have a close relative who has been quarantined and is awaiting a covid test. I have chosen to operate along a maximum precaution principle, deferring in presence classes until we get - hopefully- a covid negative result. Please be so kind to attend via the digital 'online class' button - in the Course webpage.

I apologize for the inconvenience, these are the kind of obstacles we all face these days.

Dear PDGW Students,

our Politics and Development classes will begin next November 8th, 2021.

The timetable is available in the I-Contact webpages. The course will be delivered in presence, however online attendance is also possible for those of you who cannot be present in person. I have created a virtual Teams room in the Virtuale platform - and an 'online class' button should be generated by the system in the next days - next to the Course description (guideweb).

Selected class materials and guidelines will also be posted soon in the Virtuale repository of the Course (Academic Year 2021-2022) and throughout the duration of the teaching period.

Please note that enrollment in Virtuale platform is currently offered to students who have included the course in their Studyplan for Academic Year 2021-22.nbsp;

The course will be based on both taught and, if applicable, flipped classroom modalities, based on the number of attending students and on students' choices of the mode of attendance (in presence - remote). Additional pieces of information will thus be shared on our first day of class.

Cari Studenti,

come sapete le lezioni relative alla Seconda Parte del Corso RI 2020-2021 partiranno la prossima settimana (12-16 Aprile). In ottemperanza alle norme relative alla gestione dell’emergenza pandemica in corso, e su indicazione del Consiglio di Corso di Laurea SID, fino a tutta la prossima settimana compresa, e fino a che la Regione Emilia-Romagna resterà in zona rossa, le lezioni si terranno tutte in modalità online.

Le lezioni saranno accessibili via teams nelle diverse aule dedicate, generate mediante il sistema AlmaEsami dalle liste alle quali vi siete iscritti, accessibili tramite il link che riceverete nelle vostre caselle di posta elettronica. Gli orari sono quelli pubblicati alla pagina dell’orario SID Online.

Seguiranno ulteriori istruzioni in ragione dell’evolversi della situazione pandemica.

Appelli straordinari esami RI e PWE Aprile 2021– Special session RI and PWE exams April 2021

Si avvisano gli studenti che intendono iscriversi alla sessione straordinaria di laurea prevista per Maggio 2021 che verranno fissati appelli straordinari via Teams nel mese di Aprile (per gli aventi diritto tra gli iscritti ai Corsi Relazioni Internazionali, AA 2019-2020 e anni precedenti; Politics of the World Economy, studenti in debito). Le date verranno fissate in base alle indicazioni delle Segreteria e pubblicate tramite le apposite liste AlmaEsami, non appena ricevute le liste degli aventi diritto da parte degli Uffici. Si precisa che le prove si terranno, come previsto dalla Segreteria, comunque entro la finestra temporale dal 16.04.2021 al 22.04.2021

Entrambe le prove (Relazioni Internazionali, Politics of the World Economy) verranno erogate in via orale, in ragione della natura straordinaria dell’appello. RI: La prova orale verterà su tutto il programma (RI non frequentanti) e sonderà in maniera approfondita i temi oggetto del Corso, comprensivi della monografia a scelta. PWE: La prova orale per l’esame PWE verterà sulle prime due parti del Corso e su UN tema a scelta entro la parte Terza del Corso.

Le sessioni ordinarie (da Giugno 2021 in avanti) verranno erogate secondo le modalità usuali, come pubblicato alle pagine dei corsi AA 2020-2021.

ENGLISH

Eligible students who plan to enroll in the Special Graduation Session (May 2021) will have the opportunity to sit the exams Relazioni Internazionali and Politics of the World, respectively, in a Special Exam Session held via Teams in April. The dates of the exams (between April 16 and April 22 2021, as advised by the Segreteria) will be set once the lists of eligible students is available from Academic Offices. Exam lists will be simultaneously opened for enrollment in AlmaEsami.

Prior to signing up students will have to obtain a certification of their eligibility from the Segreteria. Both RI and PWE exams will be held orally, due to the special nature of the session. Oral exams will cover in detail the Syllabi as published on the Courses’ webpages (AY 2019-2020).

RI: students will have to prepare in full the Programme for Non Attending Students, inclusive of one monograph chosen from the list.

PWE: students will have to prepare orally on Part 1 and Part 2, and choose ONE among Part 3 topics.

Ordinary sessions (June-July and subsequent sessions) will be held according to the usual modalities, as indicated on the Courses’ webpages (2020-2021).

La Segreteria ha fatto ricognizione e risultano ancora posti disponibili nelle liste pubblicate su AlmaEsami per le lezioni a carattere seminariale erogate nella seconda parte del corso (canali: Ri e nuove sfide alla governance globale, Ri e ambiente). Le liste sono aperte ma si bloccano a sopraggiunta capienza: si chiede quindi a ciascuno studente che desideri frequentare il corso di iscriversi comunque in una delle liste ancora disponibili.

Per chi non dovesse riuscire ad iscriversi a modalità digitale in ragione di sopraggiunta capienza, e si iscrivesse quindi a modalità in presenza, viene comunque garantito il diritto a partecipare attivamente ed integralmente tramite la modalità digitale, secondo soluzioni che verranno comunicate a chiusura liste.

Si ricorda che il percorso frequentanti richiede la frequenza ad entrambe le parti del corso, presenza attiva tramite partecipazione alle attività di classe nel caso del secondo modulo, sostenimento di due prove parziali al termine di ciascun modulo.

Si ricorda che l’importazione di testo da altra fonte senza virgolette ed opportuna citazione è considerato plagio, ed è come tale sanzionabile a termini di legge. Sono incluse le importazioni di testo da slides, o qualsivoglia altro materiale che non sia di esclusiva elaborazione del candidato. Il riscontro di plagio invalida integralmente la prova.

SCRITTI NON FREQUENTANTI

La prova Non Frequentanti (10 domande aperte a risposta breve, 3 punti max ciascuna, per risposte complete, corrette e ben articolate) dura 45 minuti (in un arco temporale di 55 minuti 10.00-10.55), segnalati con contaminuti a scalare. Il voto minimo per poter accedere alla prova orale è pari a 18/30, il voto massimo 30/30. Non ci sono limiti di spazio alle risposte (che vanno inserite nel campo a testo libero) ma solo il limite di tempo dei 45 minuti. Le domande vertono su tutto il programma pubblicato al sito del corso, ad esclusione di quanto svolto a lezione e dei materiali postati per i frequentanti.

Allo scadere del tempo la prova viene inviata in automatico.

Ogni domanda è su pagina separata ed è possibile andare avanti e indietro tra domande.
