I am a resercher mainly working on the analysis and modeling of ground deformation fields caused by natural events. In particular, my focus is on active volcanoes and their unrest.
I have experience in the use of in situ and remote sensing acquisitions, particularly from satellite-based platforms (SAR, IR, optical). I am familiar with geodetic data and I joined fieldworks for the installations of GPS stations.
In addition, I mostly work on the development of modeling methods that include Finite-Element techniques to retrieve deep deformation sources.
I am currently enrolled in a multidisciplinary PhD program promoting a collaborative research on the topic of climate change and geophysics in a wider sense and financed by the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia
