I am a designer, artist, and Ph.D. Candidate in Architecture and Design Cultures at the University of Bologna, Italy, Department of Architecture. I hold an MA in Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. I am the co-founder of the art collective QUIZEPO.
My most recent research interests focus on contemporary art practices, site-specific artworks, and creative processes in relation to urban change. In my current doctoral research, I am examining how artists working in city spaces experience, interpret, and integrate changes in public urban sites into the production of their urban art-works. My research involves extensive fieldwork with local artists in Bologna, employing visual ethnography, stimulated recall interviews, and semi-structured interviews to explore their ‘ways of doing’ and the creative processes underlying their urban artistic practices.
