Elena Carloni

Contract Professor at Bologna University since 2016, she conducts observational and experimental research in animal behaviour, primarily in the socio-ecology of Carnivores and Non-human Primates. Main research questions focus on: social interactions, causes and consequences of sociality, management of social conflict, communication, welfare and well-being particularly when related to social factors and spacing patterns, cognitive abilities.

She regularly attends international conferences with original works and publishes on peer-reviewed journals and interdisciplinary books.
