Research Interests and Activities

Endothelial function, and coronary microvascular pathophysiology. Acute coronary syndromes; Ischemic heart disease; Coronary artery disease; Women and heart disease.  She is involved in research projects where she performs research on prospective and retrospective patient registry data focused on risk stratification, gender differences, evaluation of regional and geographical variations of acute coronary syndromes, their prevention, management, and outcomes. Her actual involvement in cardiology research consists of research projects that aim to bring further knowledge in the field of clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
