Danio Maldussi is Associate Professor at the Department of Interpreting and Translation (D.I.T.) of the University of Bologna, Italy where he is responsible for Relations with Business Sector and for Internships. He is the promoter od the projet Lunchtime Opportunities, specifically dedicated to companies, bodies and institutions that have an internship to offer to the students of the D.I.T. Department and also deals with the Language Toolkit projet in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Romagna - Forlì-Cesena-Rimini. His main research interests lie in the specialised translation, in particular financial, legal and accounting translation. He is the author of the monograph “La terminologia alla prova della traduzione specializzata. L’offerta del terminologo, le esigenze del professionista. Una ricerca dal vivo” (Bonomia University Press). He is also co-editor with Eva Wiesmann of three Special Issues dedicated to specialized translation. He is also initiator and contact person (in collaboration with Eva Wiesmann) for the Laboratory for Specialized Translation at the D.I.T.
