Nota biografica

The main scientific goal of my PhD is the development of SW-HW codesign strategies as well as algorithms for parallel programming support for energy-efficient large scale parallel computing systems, such as HPC machines and supercomputers. My research activity includes the study and the implementation of novel mechanisms to propagate performance requirements from the application to the operating system to support dynamic parallelization and DVFS control policies for energy-reduction under performance and power constraints. My research also include the development of model predictive thermal-aware scheduling for the optimal thread mapping under thermal constraints in heterogeneous HPC systems.

Enthusiasm, initiative and dynamism have continuously pushed me to go forward in work as well as in study. I try hard to achieve my goals, and once I reached there, I continue to move into new projects that allow me to grow both personally and professionally. Vai al Curriculum
