Dr. Cristiano Albonetti is a research scientist joining to the Institute for the Study of Nanostructured Materials (ISMN) of CNR. He performs research activities on: a) Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM); b) Physics of organic films growth and c) Fabrication of organic/inorganic nanostructures. He has been elected as councilor for the Italian Society of Microscopy Science (SISM) and the European Microscopy Society (EMS). He is co-responsible for ISMN in 1) the project “OF-Opus facere” granted by MIUR (nanotechnology lab); 2) Collaborator in the UE project "RM@Schools 3.0" granted by EIT and 3) Collaborator in the project “Dalla Ricerca alla Scuola …. e ritorno ” granted by MIUR.
He has promoted a nanotechnology exhibition at CNR (2008), 2 schools on SPM (2010 and 2011) and three workshops on SPM (2013, 2016 and 2017). He is author of 51 publications in international journals (H index 21 and about 1600 citations), e three book chapters and he has participated to about 50 international conferences with oral presentations and as chairman.
