Carla Bagnoli is Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Modena & Reggio Emilia since 2010. She was previously tenured Full Professor at the University of Wisconsin, where she had taught since 1998 on a tenure-track. In 2021-22 she was nominated Visiting Fellow at All Souls College Oxford. She joined the Philosophy Faculty at the University of Oslo from 2015-18), and was Visiting Fellow a Harvard, LMU Munich, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, ENS- Lyon. Bagnoli does research on the philosophy of action, practical reasoning, Kantian ethics, moral epistemology and meta-ethics. Among her recent publications:
