Winner of a research grant worth of 270.000 euros

The Department of QUVI has been succesful in obtaining a significant research grant from the competitive 'Bando Prin 2022 PNRR' one of the most prestigious in Italy. Prof. Sakis Pappous is the PI for this project focusing on the social impact of Sport Mega Events. This is a joint effort led by the University of Bologna in partnership with the University of Salerno.

🇮🇹 È stato un piacere ospitare oggi come relatore Ricardo Calcado nel nostro corso di Master in Management dello Sport della Università di Bologna. Nostri studenti del Master sono stati ispirati da un leader della gestione sportiva che sta facendo la differenza nella vita di molti giovani in Brasile utilizzando lo sport come strumento di inclusione. È stato affascinante vedere come lo sport, l'ambiente, la sostenibilità e l'educazione possano essere interconnessi in armonia!

🇬🇧 It was a pleasure hosting Mr. Ricardo Calcado today as a guest speaker in our Masters in Sports Management course at the University of Bologna. Our Masters students were inspired by a sports management leader who is doing a difference in the life of many young people in Brazil using sport as a tool for inclusion. It was fascinating to see how sport, environment, sustainability and education can be interlinked in harmony!

🇪🇸 Fue un placer hoy hospedando como orador invitado al Sr. Ricardo Calcado en nuestro curso de Maestría en Gestión Deportiva en la Universidad de Bolonia. Nuestros estudiantes del Máster se inspiraron en un líder de la gestión deportiva que está marcando la diferencia en la vida de muchos jóvenes en Brasil utilizando el deporte como herramienta de inclusión. Ha sido fascinante ver cómo el deporte, el medio ambiente, la sostenibilidad y la educación pueden interrelacionarse en armonía!

🇬🇷 Ήταν χαρά μας να φιλοξενήσουμε σήμερα ως προσκεκλημένο ομιλητή τον κ. Ricardo Calcado στο μεταπτυχιακό μας μάθημα στη Διαχείριση Αθλητισμού στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Μπολόνια. Οι μεταπτυχιακοί μας φοιτητές εμπνεύστηκαν από έναν ηγέτη στον τομέα της αθλητικής διαχείρισης, ο οποίος κάνει τη διαφορά στη ζωή πολλών νέων στη Βραζιλία χρησιμοποιώντας τον αθλητισμό ως εργαλείο για την ένταξη. Ήταν συναρπαστικό να δούμε πώς ο αθλητισμός, το περιβάλλον, η βιωσιμότητα και η εκπαίδευση μπορούν να αλληλεπιδρούν αρμονικά!
