As a PhD student at the University of Bologna under the supervision of Professor Alessandro Chiarucci, my research is centered on plant ecology. My main research interests include the analysis of plant functional traits, community assembly patterns, and ecosystem functioning. Currently, my work focuses on the role of functional diversity and dark diversity in shaping the composition and functioning of forest understory plant communities, taking into account both spatial and temporal variability, inside the National Park Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna.
I am actively involved in national and international research projects to deepen the understanding of the processes driving biodiversity dynamics. As an author of publications in my field, I am contributing to the development of new perspectives in functional and community ecology.
